Nanny Wanted - Part Time Nanny Needed (8 Am-1 Pm, Weekdays) — Attachment Focused, Nurturing Care For Almost 2 Year Old

We are a loving family seeking a deeply nurturing, emotionally attuned, and trustworthy nanny to care for our daughter in our home each weekday morning. Our daughter is almost 2 - sensitive, curious, and affectionate. She thrives with gentle, predictable caregiving and one-on-one attention. We are looking for someone who sees caregiving as more than supervision, someone who connects, supports development, and brings warmth and intention to their time with children. What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who naturally practices or understands attachment-focused caregiving
• Calm, responsive, and emotionally available
• Able to engage her in meaningful play, crafts, and planned activities that support her development
• Believes in connection before correction and helps toddlers feel seen and safe
• Bonus if you’re familiar with gentle/responsive parenting, RIE, or similar philosophies

Details:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Location: Downtown Toronto (transit accessible)
• Start Date: In approximately 3 weeks (some flexibility)

Duties:

• Planning and facilitating engaging activities (e.g. sensory play, music, toddler-friendly crafts)
• Supporting her emotional development with patience and presence
• Preparing and serving nutritionally balanced toddler meals/snacks
• Light tidying of her play and eating areas

About Our Home: Requirements:

• Experience with toddlers (formal or informal, but grounded and emotionally present)
• Clear references and background check
• Infant/child CPR (or willingness to complete)
• A kind, grounded, and developmentally informed presence
