This senior role provides internal security consulting across Kraken’s heterogeneous environment. You will work hands-on with engineering teams on application security, infrastructure security, cryptography, web3, Rust, and emerging AI products. The position supports Kraken’s blockchain teams with secure operational practices.

• Design and review robust security architecture
• Verify security architecture across heterogeneous environments
• Conduct application security assessments and audits
• Recommend practical architectural security improvements
• Provide blockchain security expertise to engineering teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT security expert
• Strong background in application security
• Experience testing diverse applications
• Experience with infrastructure security
• Basic familiarity with OWASP and NIST frameworks
