Assistant Superintendent Construction Manager

Take the next step with Chandos as our Assistant Superintendent, coordinating construction efforts while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Work with diverse teams to ensure timely project completion within budget. In your role, you will be at the forefront of supervising daily construction activities, requiring both leadership and hands-on problem-solving skills. Your background with large general contractors will assist in monitoring project budgets and ensuring compliance with regulations. Clear communication with clients and subcontractors will be vital to achieving successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee budget monitoring and forecasting throughout projects
- Provide daily direction for construction tasks and activities
- Clarify roles and responsibilities for site staff
- Conduct inspections of tools and report for service
- Engage in hands-on work when necessary to meet deadlines
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent
- Experience managing commercial projects from $100K to $5M
- Journeyman certification or equivalent relevant experience
- Willingness to travel and work night shifts
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
