The opportunity:

The Vendor Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing and contracting with new vendors that will provide rewards as part of our marketplace . The Vendor Sourcing Specialist will have to have a deep knowledge of B2B incentive market. This role focuses on the full vendor acquisition cycle, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with vendors. . The Vendor Sourcing Specialist will own the relationship with vendors post launch and ensure compliance with internal teams' requirements, such as Information Security, Finance, and Legal. 

Responsibilities:

Vendor Sourcing

• Source new vendors based on the Achievers’ strategic direction. 
• Establish and refine preliminary vendor requirements, ensuring vendors meet the Achievers’ compliance standards in areas such as information security, financial stability, and legal obligations. 
• Conduct initial assessments and audits of vendor capabilities 
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors that align with business objectives and customer needs. 
• Act as the primary point of contact for new vendors, leading them through the launch process. 

Negotiating and Contracting

• Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions. 
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure all necessary agreements are signed and executed promptly. 
• Own vendor relationships post-launch, maintaining ongoing communication and managing any issues that arise. 

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Information Security, Finance, Legal, and other relevant departments to ensure that new vendors meet all internal requirements. 
• Work closely with the Vendor Onboarding Specialist to ensure a smooth vendor integration process. 
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor products meet customer and business needs. 

Continuous Improvement

• Provide feedback on market trends to inform future sourcing strategies. 
• Suggest and implement improvements to the vendor sourcing process, ensuring efficiency and scalability. 
• Stay up to date on industry trends and vendor best practices to drive innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in vendor sourcing, procurement, or a similar role. 
• Proven track record in successful negotiation and vendor management. 
• Understanding of the global incentive market. 
• Strong understanding of contract management and legal compliance. 
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
