Slinkemo Enterprises is a trucking company, operating now for 25 years. We are located at 2099 Fleming Road (very close to Loblaws).
We are heavily involved with: container handling and drayage, import loads and grain exports, transloads and destuffs, rail car unloads, crop inputs, and container storage. We have seen substantial growth in all divisions, and are needing additional staff to assist with that growth. The position will largely be office clerical - to include, but not limited to: assisting to run the depot operation -- invoicing customers in all divisions: imports, exports, transloads, railcars, chem, and fertilizer. Will also be required to input daily fuel, LCV, and shipping info. Successful candidate will also be expected to take pictures of containers a few times per day -- IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. This will require going up a short ladder, and getting inside the container to take pictures. The position will start immediate - Monday to Friday, averaging 4 or 5 hours per day. Then, in 3 to 4 weeks thereafter, the position will move to 8 hour shifts per day. Please note that the first 4 to 6 shifts will take place on the WEEKEND, and or evening.Otherwise, ALL weekends OFF. We are looking for people with analytical minds, who can problem solve, with a take charge approach. Good working knowledge of Excel is an absolute must, as well as a valid license and dependable vehicle. Although not required - definite preference will be given to those with a background in the world of container handling and drayage, and depot operations. This is a fast paced working environment, all office staff works out of a large Hard Shak unit - dispatchers / billing team / depot / all working in the same Hard Shak. Your hourly wage will be dependent on the skill sets you have to offer our company.
