Carbon Market Analyst - Fuel Standards Expertise

In the role of Fuel Standards Analyst at ClearBlue Markets, based in Toronto, you will analyze fuel standards, applying your knowledge of policy and market trends. You'll create comprehensive data visualizations, reports, and forecasts, ensuring informed decision-making for our clients. Your understanding of carbon intensity and market forces will be key to your success in this analytical position. Key Responsibilities:

Analyze fuel supply-demand dynamics and policy impacts
Create high-quality visualizations and reports for stakeholders
Manage and interpret complex regulatory datasets
Develop supply and demand forecasts for Clean Fuel Standards
Communicate complex forecasts to various audiences

Requirements:

Master’s degree in sustainability, environmental management, or economics
At least 3 years of industry experience in fuel standards
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; additional software knowledge beneficial
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for carbon markets and reducing environmental impact
