You will be responsible for the full hardware development lifecycle—from conceptual design and schematic capture to PCB layout, prototyping, and rigorous hardware validation. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Hardware Design: Architect and design electronic circuits (analog, digital, and low-power) for building automation, power distribution, or industrial control systems.
• PCB Layout & Documentation: Develop schematics, layout printed circuit boards (PCBs), and generate BOMs using industry-standard E-CAD tools (e.g., Cadence).
• Testing & Validation: Plan and execute lab validation. Perform prototype bring-up, bench debugging, and functional/parametric testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data loggers.
• Compliance & Reliability: Ensure hardware designs meet industry regulatory standards (EMC/EMI, safety compliance, UL/IEC).

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to define product architectures and transition products into mass production.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform systematic debugging and root cause analysis for any hardware or component issues during the development or lifecycle phases.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related IT technical field.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in electronic hardware design, development, and testing.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout (Cadence/OrCAD/Allegro).
• Testing Skills: Strong troubleshooting capabilities using standard lab test equipment.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensor integration, power electronics, and Design for Manufacturing/Testability (DFM/DFT) is highly advantageous.
