Integration Developer - Workato

Position Description
We are looking for an Integration Developer to design, build, and maintain automated workflows and API based integrations across our systems. The ideal candidate combines hands on Workato experience with strong REST API expertise and solid programming fundamentals, paired with the communication skills needed to work closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Your future duties and responsibilities
. Design, build, and maintain integration workflows (recipes) using Workato
. Develop, consume, and troubleshoot REST APIs connecting internal and third party systems
. Translate business requirements into scalable, well documented integration solutions
. Monitor, debug, and optimize existing integrations for performance and reliability
. Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams to gather requirements and provide status updates
. Write clean, maintainable code to support custom logic, connectors, or scripts within integration workflows
. Document integration architecture, data flows, and standard operating procedures
. Participate in code reviews and contribute to integration best practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Minimum 1 year of hands on experience building and managing workflows in Workato
. 4–5 years of experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs
. Fluency in at least one core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar)
. Strong understanding of API authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, tokens) and data formats (JSON, XML)
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across technical and non technical stakeholders
. Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot integration issues independently

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000.00–$125,000.00.
