Home Automation Manager and Lead Hand

Job Responsibility:

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Home Automation Manager and Lead Hand with primary responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Control4 installer and programmer
• Cabling and installation of Cat7, Cat6, HDMI, Speakers and Alarm Cable
• Installing audio visual system, automation hardware like televisions, speakers and surround systems
• Installing and configuring security camera system
• Installing wired and wireless Alarm systems
• Configuring thermostat, light switches
• Installation of data equipment, including data racks, Patch Panels, Cable Trays
• Project management and leading and training staff
• Working with potential and existing clients to identify requirements and prepare cabling and hardware requirements for quoting
• Keeping up with market trends on new technologies

About You

You have at least 5 years of home automation experience. You are self-motivated and driven. You are experienced with Microsoft Office applications.

You have the following certifications:

• Control4® Associate Installer Certification
• Control4® Automation Programmer Certification

The following certification/training is an asset:

• Centralized Lighting
• Working at Heights
• First Aid

Requirements

The position requires attendance at Netex's physical office or at the job site at all times. As such this position requires you to:

• hold and maintain a valid Ontario driver's license in good standing

You must follow all of Netex's policies and procedures, including all safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
