Seasonal Cook

Job Responsibility:
- Event cooks and line cooks needed from June through December
- Prepping(day) and serving(days evenings, weekends) events (weddings, tournaments, christmas parties, and corporate events.
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (i.e. chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook food using various kitchen utensils and appliances
- Ensure food is good quality and dishes are presented nicely
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Ensure food is stored according to safe food handling procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Education:
- Experience as cook is considered an asset
- High level of detail accuracy, manual dexterity, and hand-eye co-ordination
- Ability to work as a team/independent
- Ability to work in a safe and orderly manner
Ability to Commute/Relocate:
- Mount Elgin, ON N0J 1N0: Commute/relocate before starting work (required)
