Structural Engineer At Cima+

Elevate your career with CIMA+ as a Structural Engineer. This role focuses on innovative design and analysis, part of a sustainable energy transition team.
As a Structural Engineer at CIMA+, you will play a vital role in the Energy & Resources team, contributing to critical projects from feasibility to commissioning. With at least four years of experience, you must excel in structural design, having strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your expertise in software like SAP2000 and SAFE will ensure you deliver innovative, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Design industrial structures like foundations and pipe racks - Perform structural analysis and prepare detailed design calculations - Review vendor drawings and incorporate requirements into designs - Conduct site investigations and provide recommendations - Manage assigned structural work packages to meet project goals
Requirements: - Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Alberta - Minimum 4 years of structural engineering experience - Proficiency in SAP2000 and SAFE software - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Willingness to travel for site inspections
