Job Description
ARAMARK is currently seeking a Cook for the food service department at École Rive-Nord.
Position: Cook
Location : École Rive-Nord (400 Rue Joseph Paquette, Bois-des-Filion, QC J6Z 4P7)
Salary: Starting at $22.00 per hour, based on experience. To be discussed during the interview.
Schedule / Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (following the school calendar)
Start date : Immediate
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Perform daily food preparation and setup (mise en place).
- Participating in inventory counts.
- Assist with meal service.
- Operate the cash register as required.
- Reconcile cash registers and sales records.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of three employees under their supervision.
- Complete production, temperature, waste, and other required records.
- Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures, and MAPAQ regulations.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak service periods.
- Experience with the Expério cash register system is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check (where required by the operation). If hired, employment with Aramark will be conditional upon Aramark being satisfied that both requirements have been successfully met.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00.
