Drive impactful GIS architecture projects as a Senior Solution Architect for the Ontario Government. This contract role is based onsite in Peterborough or Toronto, focusing on enhancing architecture artifacts. In this key position, you will support the Geospatial Ontario IT Program by guiding project teams through the OPS Enterprise Architecture processes, develop and present architectural policies, and oversee assessments to ensure alignment with corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee application and infrastructure architecture assessments
- Develop supportive architectural policies for IT initiatives
- Provide GIS architecture advice to teams and management
- Collaborate with groups to meet client application needs
- Prepare documents for AGP3 presentations
Requirements
- 5+ years of solution architecture experience, specifically GIS
- Proficiency in OPS Enterprise Architecture processes
- Skilled in interpreting architectural standards
- Ability to lead diverse technical teams
- Must fulfill contract duties without service breaks
