Senior Clinical Scientist

Senior Clinical Scientist position with AbCellera's Clinical Development team focused on early-phase oncology and endocrinology drug development. The role involves designing Phase 1-2 trials, authoring regulatory submissions, and collaborating across functions to advance novel therapeutics from preclinical findings to clinical proof-of-concept.
Responsibilities
- Develop clinical study protocols, Investigator's Brochures, and Informed Consent Forms for Phase 1–2 trials
- Author and submit clinical sections for IND and CTA filings; respond to regulatory health authority inquiries
- Support medical monitoring, safety review, and data evaluation; present findings at Safety Monitoring Committee meetings
- Integrate preclinical data and biomarker strategies with clinical trial design across translational science and biometrics
- Engage with medical experts and study investigators; contribute to advisory boards to refine clinical strategy
Requirements
- Advanced degree: PhD, PharmD, MS in Life Sciences, or MD
- 5+ years biopharmaceutical clinical development experience
- Minimum 1 year dedicated early-phase (Phase 1–2) clinical trial experience
- Background in Oncology or Endocrinology/Metabolic disease indications
- Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, clinical trial design, and medical monitoring
- Strong problem-solving and ability to manage complex scientific and operational challenges
Compensation: CAD $120,000–$152,000 base annually
