Supplies and budget supervisor

Job Responsibility:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Implement efficient working processes and coordinate, administering accounts payable and receivable; processing, verifying and recording financial documents and forms; administering payrolls; processing, verifying and recording insurance claims and forms

· Examine and verify accuracy of work

· Establish budget for the hotel and approve purchases of hotel supplies based on the budget and company policies

· Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports

· Requisition supplies and materials

· Also responsible for the supply chain management of the hotel

· Identify vendors of materials, equipment or supplies

· Evaluate cost and quality of goods or services

· Negotiate or oversee the negotiation of purchase contracts

· Review and process claims against suppliers

· Develop procurement plan, budget control, Improving the efficiency of fund use.

· Logistics cost analysis and calculation, inventory management, balancing the shortage risk and logistics cost

· Notify and report to senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.

· Coordinate the financial planning and budget process, and analyze and correct estimates

Qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, business administration, management or other related discipline is required.
• 5+ years of experience in budgeting and financial management.
• Several years of experience in supply chain management.
• Language: English is required; Mandarin or Cantonese as an asset.

Salary: $36.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (required)

Experience:

• budgeting and financial management: 5 years (required)
• supply chain management: 3 years (required)

Language:

• English (required)
• Mandarin (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Certified Management Accountant (preferred)
