Co-op, Project Coordinator (Kearl)

We are seeking a Co-op, Project Coordinator to support our North American Construction Group team in Fort McMurray. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious student looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and innovative company.
(8-12 month placements are available, and preferred for this role. Willing to consider a 4 month term)

Where You Will Be Working
Location: Fort McMurray
Rate of Pay: $24.00-$31.00
Site: Kearl
Schedule: 14x14-11.5hrs
Accommodation: Camp
Tentative start date: January 2027
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Co-op, Project Coordinator, you will:
- Work in a field office on-site, Fort McMurray.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field supervisors, surveyors, maintenance personnel and equipment operators.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze operational data.
- Interact with staff and operational personnel.
- Report project details in a timely manner.
- Perform tasks based on your specific experience and skill sets.
What Makes You the ONE
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Pursuing a degree in Industrial, Civil, or Mining Engineering (other engineering disciplines considered).
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (required).
- Ability to obtain CSO and Wildlife Awareness (including Bear Awareness) online certifications from Energy Safety Canada.
