Kritzer Professional Corporation is a reputable tax and accounting firm specializing in Canadian personal and small business tax matters, with a focus on cross-border personal taxation between Canada and the United States. As a small firm, we pride ourselves on delivering personalized and expert services to our clients. Our offices are located next to Mount Royal University.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of personal and small business tax returns, with a particular emphasis on Canadian taxation and cross-border tax (Canada and US).
- Provide administrative support to the firm, including maintaining organized client records.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of financial documents and data entry to support the tax preparation process.
- Collaborate with the practitioner to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Stay updated on relevant tax regulations and changes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Recent graduate from university with a strong academic record.
- Basic understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
