Your new role

• Perform day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and repairs across a residential portfolio.
• Monitor and maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities and conduct regular property inspections.
• Respond to resident service requests and ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors while ensuring work meets quality standards.
• Assist with suite turnovers, including painting, inspections, light cleaning, and general repairs.
• Support landscaping, snow removal, and overall curb appeal initiatives.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory controls, and operational documentation.
• Travel between properties as required to support operational needs.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2+ years of experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use building operations.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting building systems.
• Proven ability to manage work orders, priorities, and maintenance schedules effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with experience interacting directly with residents or tenants.
• Experience coordinating contractors and vendors is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties as required.
• Building Operator Certification (BOC), 4th Class Power Engineering, WHMIS, or other industry-related certifications are considered assets.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
