Sales Consultant

North Bay Cycle & Sports is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team.

As a Sales Consultant, you will provide exceptional customer service while promoting and selling our wide range of powersports products, including ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and power equipment from Polaris, Honda, Suzuki and Kress.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, is motivated to learn, and takes pride in becoming a true product specialist. You will work with customers to understand their needs, recommend the right products, and build long-term relationships that extend well beyond the initial sale.

Job Duties

• Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming dealership experience.

• Work with customers to understand their needs, intended use, budget and purchasing timeline.

• Recommend products and options that best fit each customer's needs.

• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of our Polaris, Honda, Suzuki and Kress product lines.

• Maintain an understanding of available models, features, accessories, pricing, promotions and financing options.

• Follow up with customers and sales leads by phone, email and other communication channels.

• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and help grow your customer network.

• Prepare quotes and assist customers throughout the entire purchasing process.

• Assist customers with accessories and additional products that complement their purchase.

• Ensure every vehicle delivery is professional, informative and memorable.

• Maintain accurate customer and sales information within our dealership systems.

• Participate in product training and continuously improve product knowledge.

• Work collaboratively with our Sales, Parts and Service departments.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Successful Candidates Possess

• Previous sales experience is preferred, with automotive or powersports sales experience considered a strong asset.

• A genuine interest in powersports, motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides and/or outdoor recreation.

• A valid driver's licence and clean driving record.

• Professional demeanor and appearance.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• An upbeat, engaging and customer-focused attitude.

• Excellent listening and qualification skills.

• A strong work ethic and self-motivated approach.

• Ability to follow up consistently and manage multiple customers and opportunities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment.

• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems and modern technology.

• Previous experience with dealership management or CRM software, including Lightspeed EVO , is considered an asset.

• A willingness to continually learn new products, features and technology.
