Description:
WHO YOU ARE:
As an Import Coordinator, you will support the Logistics team. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Update transit reports
- Update transit reports for all ongoing shipments, including the delivery order (DO) and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
- Updating transit reports for PA (validating payment info; search).
- Requesting freight surrender to suppliers as needed and notify the forwarder once received.
Trello Board
- Monitor the Trello board 2023 for any new requests for shipping documents and communicate the necessary information to the relevant party.
- Keep Trello boards for Deliveries and In-Transit updated with the latest information on all shipments.
- Prepare releases of shipments are on Trello board.
Deliveries:
- Communicate with forwarders to arrange deliveries and pickups of empty containers.
- Filing out proof of delivery (POD) and RNS forms and save them in shared folder, following up on any missing documents.
- Request approval for incoming truck (LTL) deliveries from buyers and keeping track of ETA.
- Communicating via email with relevant parties about upcoming deliveries (FCL and LCL) and provide regular updates on shipment progress.
Brokerage Clearance:
- Sending shipping documents when necessary or requested by brokers, ensuring that all required documents are included.
DC Daily Tasks:
- Keep team updated on all containers and cartons that have been received.
- Preparing for delivery list (FCL) with the releases included (Load #).
- Providing daily container list with Load #.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- At least 1 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or higher
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Good working knowledge of Outlook and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English & French
- Attention to detail
