Become an Academic Clinician in the Gastroenterology division at SickKids, Toronto, committed to paediatric care and innovation. Engage in clinical responsibilities, performing endoscopic procedures and mentoring fellows. The Hospital for Sick Children is seeking a dedicated full-time Academic Clinician in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Ideal candidates possess excellent clinical skills in paediatric endoscopy and luminal disorders. Your contributions will span inpatient services, outpatient clinics, and an active research agenda in collaboration with the University of Toronto. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and interventional GI endoscopic procedures
- Attend outpatient clinics focused on luminal GI care
- Participate actively in on-call schedules within the division
- Mentor fellows in the GHN fellowship program
- Conduct clinical research aligned with SickKids Research Institute
- MD, MBBS or equivalent required
- Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
- Proficiency in English essential
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Expertise in paediatric endoscopy and luminal disorders necessary
