Business Topic Lead (Logistics) – oneRTX SAP S/4 HANA

Location: Longueuil, Quebec (exclusively on-site, Monday to Friday with flexible hours)

Overview

Reporting to the Associate Director for SAP S/4 HANA Global Operations, the Business Topic Lead will lead the transformation of the logistics stream in the Plan‑to‑Sustain (P2S) workstream through implementation of SAP S/4 HANA for P&W Canada. The role bridges business stakeholders and development teams, translating complex needs into executable tasks while driving operational efficiency and change.

Responsibilities

• Act as the business process owner for logistics capabilities in SAP S/4 HANA and perimeter systems, ensuring user needs are met.
• Manage functional and data requirements backlog, creating, prioritizing, and refining user stories with acceptance criteria under an agile framework.
• Represent PWC interests at P&W and RTX when decisions are taken on product design.
• Make critical decisions on functional and data prioritization based on business value, technical complexity, and customer feedback.
• Participate in program planning, process workshops, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Support functional and process harmonization, testing, conversion, deployment, cleansing, and migration activities.
• Assist with training and organizational change management activities.
• Support Data Readiness initiatives: data quality analysis, profiling, cleansing, migration, validation, and integrity monitoring for SAP S/4 HANA transition.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve workflows while integrating business and industry best practices and aligning with RTX entities.
• Coordinate and collaborate with SMEs, digital technology experts, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with the PST project and organizational goals.
• Support timely completion of project milestones in a dynamic environment.
• Engage business stakeholders, ensuring alignment within the overall PW view via approval gates and presentations.
• Influence transformation by acting as a positive change agent and supporting change‑management activities.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, oneRTX peers and leadership, presenting status, benefits, and implications of the transformation.
• Pro‑actively anticipate ERP‑related risks, propose mitigation solutions, and monitor risk plans to maintain project quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in logistics operations and/or supply chain management.
• Progressive experience in roles related to logistics and supply chain management.
• In‑depth experience designing, optimizing, and implementing logistics processes.
• Successful experience leading transformation projects involving logistics processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4 HANA, and understanding of their use in logistics functions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change‑management skills, with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at various levels.
• Analytical mindset for translating business needs into effective ERP solutions.
• Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Bilingual (French and English) required.
• Occasional travel (approximately 10‑25%) may be required.
