What Your Days Will Look Like

Key Responsibilities

System Configuration & Deployment

1. Configure VMS, NVRs, IP cameras, and alarm systems for new installations following documented procedures. (sites, phases, poles, or individual cameras)
2. Perform basic integration of devices with video management and monitoring platforms.
3. Validate video feeds, camera angles, and recording settings using provided checklists.

Alarms Implementation

1.Apply standard alarm thresholds and motion detection rules as defined by business guidelines.
2. Ensure configurations align with established best practices and templates.
3. Flag potential configuration concerns for review by senior analysts.

System Maintenance & Decommissioning

1.Assist with decommissioning activities, including removal of cameras, NVRs, and user accounts.
2.Maintain accurate records of configuration changes and completed tasks.
3.Perform configuration file backups under guidance.

Troubleshooting & Escalation

1.Resolve basic technical issues such as connectivity checks and simple configuration errors.
2.Escalate non-standard or complex issues following established escalation paths.
3.Coordinate with other internal SETUP teams when required.

Documentation & Compliance

1.Document system configurations and ROI designs accurately.
2.Follow data protection and privacy requirements, including masking guidelines.
3.Update internal documentation as instructed.

Collaboration & Development

1.Work closely with team members to validate post-deployment functionality.
2.Participate in required training sessions and skill development initiatives.
3.Seek guidance and feedback to build technical competency.

What We're Looking For

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
Experience (Preferred)
• Exposure to VMS platforms such as Immix, Avigilon, Syncro, Orchid, or similar
• Basic understanding of IP camera systems and alarm configurations
Skills
• Foundational understanding of IP networking
• Strong attention to detail and process adherence
Certifications (Preferred)
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent
