Job Details:
- Starting Date: As soon as possible
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Location: Southern Ontario Region (Bruce Peninsula, Owen Sound & surrounding areas)
- Compensation: $25 - $27/hourly, based on experience.
- Work Schedule: 40-hour work week - Monday to Friday

Receptionist Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing calls through a multi-line phone system.
- Retrieving messages from overnight calls on the answering service line and distributing them to the appropriate recipients.
- Greeting customers in the showroom and assessing their needs.
- Opening incoming mail, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Folding and mailing invoices and any outgoing mail.
- Collecting payments for invoices from customers using the online collection system in Viking.
- Scheduling Purolator/FedEx/UPS parcel shipping.
- Coordinating the ordering of office supplies and maintaining inventory.
- Ordering company product literature and color chips for sales staff and showroom.
- Scanning and organizing all documents saved into the computer system (Manufacturer software).
- Requesting completions from all builders.
- Sorting and distributing weekly load lists of products to required staff.
- Managing payroll for salary and hourly staff, entering information into software.
- Maintaining an Excel spreadsheet for the submission of all hours to the payroll department.
- Collecting and sorting gas receipts from all company vehicles for submission to manufacturer.
- Processing payroll for sub-trade staff and verifying it on a weekly basis.
Receptionist Potential Responsibilities:
- Scheduling retail customer installs and/or builder sales installs.
- Scheduling retail sales appointments for sales staff.
- Sorting and distributing weekly load lists of products to the required staff.
- Managing the company vehicle list, including repairs, sticker renewals, and insurance.
- Conducting follow-ups from retail and builder installations.
- Handling warranty submittals for manufacturers.
- Scheduling service calls to designated areas.
- Performing other duties as directed by management
The Receptionist Profile we are looking for:
- Relevant office administration experience.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Technical knowledge of garage doors and/or construction is advantageous.
