Business Insights Data Developer

Cencora seeks a Business Intelligence Architect/Data Modeler to design and maintain Power BI dashboards, build data transformation solutions using Databricks and SQL, and create robust data models supporting enterprise analytics and decision-making across pharmaceutical and healthcare operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutions for business stakeholders
- Build and enhance modern data transformation and reporting solutions using Databricks, SQL, and enterprise BI tools
- Create and manage data models, semantic layers, and reporting datasets enabling scalable analytics and self-service reporting
- Work with internal and external clients to gather requirements, identify reporting needs, and deliver technical solutions
- Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and performance opportunities; present findings in business-relevant format
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, or related field
- 7–10 years of directly related business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or data development experience
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Databricks; certifications highly desirable
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Power BI including dashboard development, DAX, and data modeling
- Strong SQL experience for querying, transformation, validation, and optimization
- Demonstrated SSIS and traditional ETL/data integration workflow experience
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and BI solution design
