MNP Bookkeeper - Cloud Focused Role

Contribute to excellence at MNP as a Bookkeeper within our Cloud Accounting Services. Your role will encompass full cycle bookkeeping and payroll, utilizing innovative technology for client service. As a valued Bookkeeper, you will work with a team dedicated to delivering top-tier financial reporting and bookkeeping solutions. Play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with clients to solve any discrepancies. Your experience with cloud software will be instrumental in efficiently managing client accounts. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full cycle bookkeeping and payroll for clients
- Record all transactions including receivables and payables
- Assist with budgets and administrative planning
- Reconcile general ledger accounts diligently
- Engage with government regarding assessments and information
- At least 1 year of full cycle bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QBO or Xero is preferred
- Good understanding of basic accounting and taxes
- Accounting or business administration certificate considered an asset
- Strong communication skills for client engagement
