Admin Support

The City of Moose Jaw is seeking dedicated Admin Support in the Operations Department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, collate, prepare, maintain, track and type a variety of technical and administrative material.
- Provide reception services including receiving telephone calls, emails and enquiries.
- Provide administrative support, including budget tracking and control, task management, records management, communications.
- Assist with dispatch duties including handling requests for paratransit bus services and two-way radio communications.
- Responsible for inputting, assigning, answering and responding to public requests for service.
- Collect, process, record and deposit monies received and maintain files.
- Issue sales and purchase orders, and process invoices for accounts receivable
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants will possess:
- 1 year Office Administration Certificate or similar education and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administrative or clerical role; OR
Grade 12 education plus three (3) years of experience in an administrative or clerical role in a busy office setting.
- Experience with Windows-based systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. The ability to learn, understand and operate specialized software.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license, able to produce a current driver's abstract and be insurable.
- Ability to lift to 25lbs and walking distances.
- Ability to walk long distances for up to 2 hours consecutively.
