Corporate Finance Director

We are looking for a strategic and unifying leader to ensure the financial health of the Group and support its growth.

Reporting to the President and the Executive Committee, the Corporate Finance Director is responsible for ensuring the financial health of the Group by providing accurate information for decision-making, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations as well as the values of the Group, and overseeing the profitability of the company. What does your role involve?

Financial strategy

• Provide leadership and financial vision to support the Group's growth

• Plan and control all financial activities: accounting, forecasting, cash flow, and payroll

Leadership and team management

• Recruit, train, and mentor the finance team

• Coordinate daily activities and month-end reporting

Budget, cash flow, and financing

• Lead the budgeting process and variance analysis

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing matters

Control, compliance, and payroll

• Ensure internal control, tax compliance, and audits

• Lead payroll processing and workforce cost control

• Manage relationships with business partners: governments, banks, insurers, and suppliers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, including significant experience in a controller, financial management, or finance leadership role within an SME.

• Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement production

• Experience in implementation of systems, continuous improvement, and process optimization.

• Experience in process improvement, internal controls, and financial performance optimization

• Experience in team management and talent development

• Ability to work directly with senior management and present clear recommendations.

• A flexible, precise person capable of working under pressure

• Good team spirit and excellent interpersonal relationships

• Hotel experience is an asset

• Fully bilingual (French and English) — required due to regular interactions with an international clientele and partners

• Knowledge of the Dayforce payroll system (an asset)
