General Machinist Concord Hard Chrome Limited Location Concord, ON Salary 36.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Full time Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting General manufacturing Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Set up and adjust production machineries/tools Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) Experience and specialization Measuring tools Micrometers Callipers Equipment and machinery experience Milling machines Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Tight deadlines Repetitive Physically demanding Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Until: 2026-06-30
