As a Senior Mine Engineer, you will take charge of various engineering functions while collaborating with site teams and contractors. Key Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive underground mine plans according to safety standards
• Manage engineering deliverables with contractors for project milestones
• Support planning and provide key input for production strategies
• Assist in developing life-of-mine designs and reporting
• Participate in site-wide safety audits and inspections
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mine Engineering
• 5-7 years in underground engineering roles
• Experience in underground planning software required
• In-depth knowledge of mining operations and practices
• Registered or eligible as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
