Locally owned and operated since 1995, KAR Auto Parts is a leading auto parts distributor serving Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area. We pride ourselves on fast, reliable service and knowledgeable staff. We're expanding our team and looking for an experienced Senior Parts Advisor to join us.
Position Summary
As a Senior Parts Advisor, you will be the go-to expert for our customers seeking automotive parts and accessories. You'll provide exceptional service by accurately identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate parts, and coordinating orders with vendors and warehouse staff. Your expertise will help maintain and grow strong relationships with local repair shops, dealerships, and walk-in customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying the correct auto parts and accessories for their needs
- Provide expert advice on part compatibility, availability, and alternatives
- Manage and process orders efficiently using our inventory and CRM systems
- Collaborate closely with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business
- Support inventory management and product knowledge updates
- Train and mentor junior staff as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Auto Parts Advisor, preferably in a senior or lead role
- In-depth knowledge of automotive parts and aftermarket products
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Proficient with computer systems, inventory management software, and CRM tools
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Reliable and team-focused
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday to Friday work schedule
- Alternating Saturday shifts required (rotating schedule)
