Director of Canadian Interest Rates Coverage

Lead risk oversight for Canadian Interest Rates at TD in Toronto, Canada. This role requires expert market knowledge and a strong focus on risk assessment and management. As the Senior Manager/Director, you will be responsible for identifying key market risks and establishing appropriate risk metrics. Your extensive experience of over 10 years will be crucial as you analyze risks, develop market policies, and engage with trading desks. You will also be required to maintain dialogue with relevant parties and report on structured risks. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify key market risks and implement risk metrics
- Maintain understanding of risk issues via reports and dialogue
- Collaborate with trading desks on positions and risks
- Establish market risk policies and set risk limits
- Analyze new product requests to manage risk effectively
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Master’s in a quantitative field preferred
- Expert knowledge of structured markets in Canada
- Strong risk analysis and communication skills
