Brockville General Hospital is currently seeking an exceptional candidate to join as a full-time General Surgeon. Brockville General Hospital is an estimated 172-bed hospital in the city of Brockville, which is 45-minutes from Kingston and an hour from Ottawa. Brockville General is the largest hospital in Lanark or Leeds and Grenville County, serving a catchment area of 250,000. Located in the beautiful Thousand Islands Region, we are the perfect place to practice and play.
Practice Profile
The General Surgeons provide comprehensive general surgery services within the hospital with clinical responsibilities including pre-operative assessment, peri-operative and post-operative care, performance and supervision of surgical procedures, inpatient and Emergency Department consultations, and collaboration with nursing, allied health professionals, and other physicians.
· Week-long on call schedule of Monday 8:00 am to Monday 8:00 am
· 5 ORs and 1 Endo Suite
· EMR (Cerner) with remote access
Remuneration
Fee for service + Hospital On Call Coverage (HOCC)
Qualifications
· Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
· Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification
