Bring your passion for people to Village Ice Cream as the Head of People & Culture in Calgary. In this full-time role, you will shape a workplace that prioritizes thoughtful engagement and connection. As the Head of People & Culture, you'll collaborate closely with the Leadership Team to design strategies around hiring, employee experience, and internal communications. Your responsibilities include coaching leaders, refining policies, and providing a welcoming environment for employees. This impactful role allows you to create lasting improvements in team culture and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement People & Culture strategies
- Lead full-cycle hiring and onboarding processes
- Facilitate training and team-building initiatives
- Coach leaders on performance and employee relations
- Manage internal communications and workplace operations
- Experience in HR or related people-focused role
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Familiarity with Alberta Employment Standards
- Proficient with HR and technology systems
- Passion for fostering an inclusive workplace
