Assistant Director Mathnasium Learning Centre

Job Responsibility:

Mathnasium, located in South Surrey is hiring an Assistant Centre Director to support its Centre operations.

The Assistant Centre Director assists the Centre Director on sales and administartive tasks, as well as provides education support and leadership to the instruction floor. This is a mutifaceted role, and includes Customer Experience Management, Sales, Educational Leadership, Instruction, Training/ Mentoring/ Supervision, and Administration as its key responsibilites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Centre Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans
• Maintain a very high level of customer service through constantly communicating with parents and sending regular student progress updates
• Managing the customer (parent and student) experience from the very first contact/interaction with the brand
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
• Identifying opportunities for promoting the brand through networking/liasing with the local community
• Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Mentor and support employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff
• Join the instructional staff in providing instruction to students when needed
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or higher
• Solid math skills up to algebra level
• Experience in sales, as well as customer relation management
• Experience in supervisory/leadership roles
• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Proficiency in computer skills

Pay: $20 - $23 / hour
