Data Programming Teaching Assistant

Support Data Programming for Business with grading coordination and Excel assistance at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management. This teaching assistant assignment totals 100 hours per term.
For MGCR 233, the teaching assistant manages grading for assignments, midterm, and final exams. The work includes scheduling graders, supporting Excel activities, and coordinating student office hours. Candidates need an Information Systems background and general Python knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage grading for two assignments and examinations
- Schedule graders and ensure timely grading completion
- Update student grades in MyCourses
- Schedule in-class Excel graders across course sections
- Assist with assignments, grading keys, and guest lecturer scheduling
Requirements:
- Appropriate background in Information Systems
- General knowledge of Python
- Availability for 100 hours per term
- Ability to hold required student office hours
- Availability from January 3 to April 17, 2027
