Job Title : Warehouse Order Picker / General Labour
Location: Scarborough, Ontario.
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $1 7.60 / hr
This role is within a high-volume warehouse environment and involves supporting day-to-day distribution activities. Duties include picking orders and preparing items for shipment in a fast-paced setting. The position requires being on your feet for most of the shift and moving throughout the warehouse to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick , pack, and work on your feet for the shift.
- Attention to detail for Order Accuracy is a MUST .
- Follow instructions as to the location and quantity of the order .
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Keep the work area clear of debris and dirt .
- Pack and prepare the order to be shipped out.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Driver's License (preferred)
- Criminal Background Check
- 1 - 2 years of Warehouse Order Picking experience.
- Previous experience using RF scanners.
- O rganized, detailed , and accurate .
- Ability to take direction in a fast-paced environment .
- Ability to work well with others .
- Good English skills. Both written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail .
- Use of 5 - step ladders .
- Liftin g between 20lbs - 5 0lbs , depending on the items in each order.
Work Conditions
Distribution warehouse, using RF scanners.
