Territory Sales Representative
We are looking for an exceptional Territory Sales Representative to join our team in Lougheed, AB. Experience as a Territory Sales Representative, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, or Outside Sales position would be preferred, and experience in agriculture is a plus though not required.
Responsibilities
- Identify new opportunities for the business and manage a mix of existing accounts.
- Find new customers and communicate the value proposition of Agriterra Equipment to convert prospects.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create a sales plan for the specified region.
- Understand each customer’s specific needs and operations, presenting solutions across the agriculture and construction equipment lineup.
- Enter leads and opportunities into the customer relationship management system and follow up with customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the quality and capabilities of the products.
- Attend sales training from manufacturers or in‑house clinics on current products (online or in person).
Qualifications
- Sales experience as a Territory Sales Consultant/Territory Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, or a similar role.
- Understanding of the agriculture industry or heavy equipment industry.
- Ability to learn technical information, given the complexity of the equipment and evolving farming technology.
- Familiarity with longer sales cycles, nurturing relationships over time and maintaining contact with customers.
