Live-In Senior Caregiver - Private Room & Bathroom Included
Full-time, Part-time
We are an East-Indian family in South Vancouver looking for a caring, reliable live-in caregiver to treat like family and assist our gentle, bedridden 94-year-old father. The role is 32 hours/week (payroll only; salary negotiable) with free private room and bathroom. The schedule requires full days Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat with built-in rest periods, brief morning help until noon on his 3-day dialysis schedule (Tue/Thu/Sun), and live-in presence for occasional overnight call-bell assistance (blankets/positioning). Responsibilities include daily personal care (pad changes, bed baths, 7 AM breakfast), light housekeeping, laundry, basic Indian cooking, and occasional Saturday errands. Lift transfers are primarily needed on Wed/Fri/Sat evenings for trips to the local Gurdwara. The ideal candidate speaks functional English, is patient and calm around basic medical care, and wants a long-term home. Punjabi or Hindi speaking an asset but not necessary. I also live in the house. (Full-Time, Part-Time, Live-In) For morning, day, evening, night (on weekend)
