Rental Social Media & Brand Specialist

Compensation: $55,000 per year

Are you a creative storyteller who loves social media, travel, and creating content that gets people inspired to explore?

Fraserway RV is looking for a Rental Social Media & Brand Specialist to lead the social media presence and digital storytelling for Fraserway Rentals . This role combines social media strategy, hands-on content creation, community engagement, brand management, and digital marketing to help grow awareness, engagement, rental inquiries, and bookings.

What You'll Do

Social Media Strategy & Management

• Develop and execute Fraserway Rentals' social media strategy in alignment with business and marketing objectives.


• Create and manage monthly content calendars supporting promotions, seasonal campaigns, travel trends, customer experiences, and rental locations.


• Manage social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn , and emerging platforms.


• Monitor performance and optimize content based on audience growth, engagement, reach, traffic, leads, and conversions.


• Stay current with social media trends, platform changes, and emerging content opportunities.


• Support paid social campaigns through content development and audience recommendations.

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Create engaging, original content, including:

  • Customer stories and testimonials
  
  
  • RV travel and destination features
  
  
  • Educational and promotional content
  
  
  • Social media copy and blog content
  
  


• Participate in video content as an on-camera spokesperson when required.


• Work with Fraserway rental locations across Canada to identify and develop authentic local content.


• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.


• Organize and maintain digital content and asset libraries.

Community & Influencer Engagement

• Monitor and respond to social media comments, messages, and inquiries professionally and promptly.


• Build engagement with customers, RV travellers, influencers, and online communities.


• Support influencer, ambassador, and user-generated content programs.


• Monitor online reviews, social conversations, and brand sentiment.


• Identify recurring customer feedback and share actionable insights with Operations and Customer Service teams.

Rental Marketing & Brand Support

• Support the development and execution of the annual Rentals marketing plan.


• Assist with digital, social, email, promotional, event, and lead-generation campaigns.


• Research rental market trends, competitors, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities.


• Support rental promotions, trade shows, events, and other marketing initiatives.


• Collaborate with the National Marketing team to coordinate campaigns and maintain consistent brand messaging.


• Work with internal teams, vendors, influencers, and agency partners to deliver marketing initiatives.

Analytics & Performance Reporting

• Track and report on key performance indicators, including:

• Use social listening, analytics, and competitive research to identify opportunities and trends.


• Prepare monthly reporting with actionable recommendations to improve results.

Website, Email & Digital Marketing

• Support rental website and landing page content updates.


• Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer communications.


• Develop content for blogs, newsletters, promotional materials, and media initiatives.


• Identify SEO and digital optimization opportunities.


• Collaborate with external digital marketing agencies on SEM and digital advertising initiatives that support rental leads and bookings.

Project & Budget Coordination

• Assist with tracking rental marketing budgets.


• Coordinate project timelines, creative assets, vendors, and deliverables.


• Ensure marketing projects are completed on time and aligned with business priorities.

What You Bring

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Business , or a related field.


• 3–5+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, or digital marketing.


• Experience developing social media strategies and content calendars.


• Strong experience creating short-form video and social-first content .


• Experience using analytics and performance data to improve marketing results.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Creative storytelling skills with excellent attention to detail.


• Comfortable appearing and speaking on camera .


• Highly organized, self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities.


• Experience in RV, automotive, tourism, travel, lifestyle, retail, or multi-location businesses is considered an asset.


• A passion for RVing, travel, outdoor adventure, and creating memorable customer experiences is an asset.

You'll help Fraserway Rentals grow its digital presence through stronger audience engagement, compelling video and social content, increased website traffic and rental leads, positive brand sentiment, and consistent storytelling across our rental marketing channels.

Additional Requirements

• The successful candidate will be required to complete a satisfactory background check as a condition of employment.


• A valid driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract may be required based on the travel and content creation needs of the role.
