At Hearthfire, we offer trauma-informed counselling and psychotherapy in Kamloops and online across BC. We aim to be a safe sanctuary where people can find steadiness, connection, and meaningful support. Our work is grounded, compassionate, and accessible, with care that meets people where they are.Role & Responsibilities:In this role, you will provide grounded, compassionate, and trauma-informed care to clients in Kamloops, BC. This position includes a strong focus on supporting children and youth, and we are looking for someone who brings both clinical skill and a warm, human approach to the work.Key Requirements:* Candidates must hold a current Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) membership in good standing (mandatory).* Background can include a Master’s in Counselling or a Registered Social Worker (RSW) designation.* Strong experience working specifically with children and youth.* Training in therapeutic modalities appropriate for children and youth, such as play therapy, expressive arts, youth-focused CBT, or similar approaches.* Availability: Wednesday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.Compensation & Hours:* Competitive fee-for-service compensation plus vacation pay.* Beautiful downtown Kamloops office space provided.* Stress-free admin: We manage all scheduling and billing.* Note: The number of hours will vary per week as the caseload builds up.
