Nanny Wanted - House Manager / Mother’s Helper $35/Hour Kits/Point Grey

We are a warm, busy family with three young children, ages 2, 3, and 4, looking for a reliable, organized, energetic House Manager / Mother’s Helper to help keep our home and daily routines running smoothly. This is a shared-care role. Mom is very involved with the children and is often home, so we’re looking for someone comfortable working alongside a parent and moving between childcare and household responsibilities depending on what is needed that day. The ideal person is proactive, flexible, warm, playful, and highly organized. We would love someone who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative rather than always waiting for direction. Responsibilities will vary day to day and may include:

• Helping care for and engage with our children, ages 2, 3, and 4
• Supporting morning, mealtime, nap, bath, and bedtime routines
• Playing with the children and creating simple, age-appropriate activities
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Helping Mom while she is with the children by taking care of household tasks
• Children's laundry, folding, putting clothing away, and changing bedding
• Keeping children's bedrooms, toys, books, clothing, and supplies organized
• Tidying the kitchen and main living areas
• Light household cleaning and vacuuming
• Grocery shopping and keeping household essentials stocked
• Running errands, making returns, and picking up household items
• Preparing for outings, appointments, activities, and travel
• Keeping track of children's essentials, including diapers, toiletries, clothing sizes, snacks, and activity supplies
• Helping the household stay one step ahead so our days run calmly and efficiently

About Our Family Mom is a stay-at-home mom who also works in social media/content creation and prioritizes spending as much time with the children as possible. Some days Mom may be working or out for a few hours, making childcare the priority. Other days she will be with the children, and the role will focus more heavily on meal preparation, laundry, organization, errands, and keeping the household running smoothly behind the scenes. Because our children are young, we place a high value on warmth, connection, patience, playfulness, and emotional safety. We want someone who can maintain healthy boundaries and routines without being overly rigid. Previous experience as a nanny, mother's helper, family assistant, or house manager is preferred. Experience caring for multiple children under age 5 is especially valuable.
