Nanny Wanted - Full Time Housekeeper (Long Term)

Job Title: Professional Career Housekeeper Location: Point Grey Area Job Type: Monday to Friday; some Saturdays about 6-8x per year. Overview: Seeking an experienced and professional House Cleaner for a 3400 sqft, 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom family home. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our House Manager to maintain a clean, organized, and functional living space for our family of five and our dog Luna. Key Responsibilites:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Keep kitchen tidy: dishwashing, declutering, and managing waste sorting.
• Regular cleaning of appliances, counters, and sinks in the kitchen.
• Daily bedroom maintenance: bed making, laundry sorting, and clothes organization.
• Bathroom upkeep: cleaning toilets, mirrors, showers, and replenishing supplies.
• Handle laundry tasks, including washing, ironing, and storage.
• Organize various home areas, handle mail/school papers, and general tidiness.
• Washing produce and basic food prep when needed.
• Perform weekly deep cleaning tasks, including refrigerator and cupboard cleaning.
• Exterior maintenance: sweeping grounds and garage, cleaning baseboards, light fixtures, and walls.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; communicate repair needs to House Manager.
• Occasionally assist House Manager with errands.
• Occasional working evening and/or weekends with advanced notice for assistance with house parties and/or babysitting.
• Walking dog

Requirements:

• Proven house cleaning experience with reliability and strong work ethic.
• Valid Driver’s License for local errands.
• Detail-oriented, capable of working independently.
• Based in or near Vancouver.
• Use of eco-friendly cleaning supplies.
• Non-smoker
• MUST HAVE valid Work Permit
• Positive attitude and cheerful demeanor.
