Jack Oâ Clubs Pub Pay Rate:Â $18.50 / hr The Jack Oâ Clubs Pub is looking for energetic, reliable, and personable Bartenders to join our team in one of BCâs most unique and fast-growing communities. With major mining activity and tourism driving growth in Wells, weâre building a strong team focused on great service, good atmosphere, and a welcoming local pub experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve beer, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly
- Provide friendly, fast, and professional customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
- Monitor guest behavior and follow Serving It Right regulations
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work closely with kitchen and floor staff to keep service running smoothly
- Help create a fun, positive atmosphere for locals, workers, and visitors alike
Requirements
- Previous bartending or serving experience preferred
- Serving It Right certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy shifts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented attitude and dependable work ethic
