The University Hospital of Northern British Columbia invites applicants for the Anesthesiologist role. Candidates must be eligible for FRCPC and hold a current CPSBC license. The position entails working within a multifaceted surgical environment, managing a range of cases from orthopedic to obstetrics, with a commitment of approximately 1997 hours per year and a 1 in 8 on-call schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver anesthetic care across various surgical specialties
• Collaborate within the Intensive Care Unit team
• Participate in the Northern Simulation Centre education programs
• Manage on-call duties efficiently
• Work with a dedicated team of anesthesiologists
Requirements:
• FRCPC eligibility and provisional license required
• Valid CPSBC license mandatory
• Provisional membership with CMPA needed
• Preferred experience in surgical specialties
• Flexibility for varied scheduling
