Program Manager - Automation

Job Description:
ProgramManagersareresponsibleforallfacetsofagivenprogram,includingthoroughandtimelycorrespondenceandcoordinationwithourcustomers,salesteams,andallinternaldepartments.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillberesults-driven,highlyorganized,andmotivatedtoprovidetotalcustomersatisfaction.
PrimaryDutiesandResponsibilities:
- Developscopeofworkdocumentationtokickoffnewprojects.
- Developtimelinesandprojectbudgets.
- Participateincustomerdesignreviewsandobtaindesignapprovals.
- Followprojectprogressinalldepartmentsandprovidecustomerupdates.
- Assuretiming,quality,andcostgoalsareconsistentlymet.
- Participateininternalequipmentvalidationprocessesandcustomerequipmentbuy-offevents.
- Obtainequipmentapprovalsandcustomerbuy-off.
- Coordinateshipping,installation,commissioning,andacceptanceatcustomerfacilities.
- Providequotationsforscopeofworkchangesorcustomerdrivenengineeringchanges.
- PromoteSelectToolandstrengthencustomerrelationsatalltimes.
- Provideanaboveaveragecustomerexperiencetoassurerepeatbusiness.
Skills&Experience:
- Previousdesignand/orbuildexperiencerelatedtoAutomation,SecondaryEquipment,SpecialMachines,Robotics,VisionSystems,andControls.
- KnowledgeofautomotiveindustryattheOEMandTier1levels.
- ManufacturingplantprocessessuchasComponentAssembly,Fastener/ClipDriving,SonicWelding,AdhesiveApply&Bonding,Testing&Validation,etc.
- Previousexperienceinaprojectmanagementroleandasset.
- Team-player,performance-driven.
- Strongorganizationalskills,flexible,andhighlyautonomous.
- Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
- ProficientwithMicrosoftOffice,Project,andExcel.
- SolidWorksorotherCADexperienceanasset.
Requirements:
- ValidOntarioDriver’slicenseandCanadianPassport.
- Occasionaltravelrequiredatcustomerfacilities.
Education:
- UniversityDegreeorCollegeTechnicalDiplomaand/orequivalentdirectworkexperience.
