Grading Position for Advanced Regression Course

Support students as a Corrector for the Advanced Regression course at the University of Ottawa. This position involves dedicated grading work during the 2027 Winter Semester. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for two Corrector roles, intended for students with at least 30 credits in mathematics and statistics. The focus of this role is grading mid-terms, tests, and assignments for the Advanced Regression course (STA-4302). Graduate students will be prioritized, leveraging their advanced knowledge to assist the class of approximately 69 students. Key Responsibilities:
- Grade mid-terms, tests, and assignments efficiently
- Communicate with students regarding grading concerns
- Maintain accurate records of student performance
- Follow departmental grading policies and guidelines
- Collaborate with supervising professor on grading tasks
- Minimum of 30 credits in mathematics and statistics
- Strong understanding of regression concepts
- Enrolled as a graduate student preferred
