Job Title: Agile Scrum Master
Location: Edmonton, AB
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare is non-negotiable .
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile delivery, support product teams, and help organizations achieve Agile excellence.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile delivery for customer, citizen, and patient-focused initiatives.
- Support Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid Agile delivery models.
- Coach teams on Agile values, principles, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to align business priorities.
- Support digital transformation, modernization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate Agile teams delivering enterprise applications and digital platforms.
- Track delivery metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Remove impediments and resolve delivery challenges.
- Ensure Agile practices align with governance and compliance requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an Agile Scrum Master within BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise application and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with business, technology, and operational stakeholders.
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and delivery planning.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and delivery challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Agile certification preferred.
