An Autobody Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies after collisions or damage. This role involves working both independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure quality repairs, including dent removal, painting, and panel replacement, while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Responsibilities can include:
- Perform dent repairs and surface preparation
- Apply paint and refinish vehicle surfaces
- Replace damaged panels and components
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in autobody repair or more
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training in autobody repair
- Experience with painting and refinishing techniques
- Proficiency in dent removal methods
- Skilled use of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
