We are seeking a Canada-licensed attorney with over eight years of employment law experience for a founding partner role. You will design legal frameworks that empower talent management, cultural alignment, and strategic clarity in hiring and compliance. This is a unique chance to lead workplace legal operations across our Canadian entities with equity partnership potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead employment law strategy for all Canadian jurisdictions
- Draft compliant employment agreements and conduct
- Collaborate with HR and leadership on hiring frameworks
- Oversee workplace investigations with integrity
- Advise on compliance and risk management strategies
- Licensed to practice in Canada (Québec or Ontario Bar preferred)
- 8+ years of employment law experience across Canada
- Strong understanding of multi-province employment law
- Excellent async communication skills with modern tools
- Experience in creative industries is a bonus
